Here are the results from Premier, the National UKC Dog Show in Kalamazoo Michigan that I went to this week:

Thursday (Top Ten Competition):
German Shepherds: The American GSDs were picked. ICK!!! I don't know why they put up dogs that can't walk right!!!


Friday:
Conformation:
German Shepherds: The American GSDs were picked AGAIN!

Dog Sports:
40 Paces Normal, about turn, 10 paces normal, 10 paces fast, 10 paces slow, 10 paces normal, right turn, 15 paces, right turn 20 paces, about turn, 10 paces, halt & sit, acknowledge judge, 10 paces, left turn, walk into a crowd, weave between 4 people
Go to the start line, 15 paces, sit in motion, leave your dog, 15 paces, about turn, wait for judge, return to your dog, back to start line, 15 paces, sit, take off leash, down your dog, leave your dog, 30 paces, about turn, wait for judge, call your dog
Go to gate, sit your dog, open gate, return to dog, go through gate with dog, sit your dog, close gate, return to dog, about turn, approach vehicle, sit dog, open vehicle, return to dog, command dog to bet in vehicle, command dog to down, recall dog, sit your dog, close vehicle door, return to dog
Go to line, sit dog, down dog, approach trash can, get out a bowl of food and set on ground, return to dog, sit your dog (from the down position)
Exercise Finished.
That is all stuff I was supposed to have memorized and known before entering the ring. I didn't know this until about 30 minutes before so we failed on Friday with a score of 63 out of 100 (must have a 70 to pass).


Saturday:
Conformation:
German Shepherds: The judge put up some European dogs but Zeke got sick (from all the running around in agility and from ring to ring and drinking too much water) so we had to rush out of the ring :o(

Agility:
We had a lot of fun but Zeke decided to run the course his own way LOL, we NQed but had a good time

Rally:
Oliver: NQed, Oliver forgot that I existed and his nose stayed on the ground the entire time!
Zeke: Qualified with a 93 out of 100!!!

Dog Sports:
Passed and got our Family Obedience Title with a 78 out of 100!


Sunday:
Conformation:
German Shepherds: The American GSDs were picked AGAIN!

Agility:
Zeke once again put on an entertaining show for the audience and everyone laughed and clapped but unfortunately that's not how you're scored so we NQed, but again it was a lot of fun!

Rally:
Oliver: I didn't even attempt it
Zeke: Qualified with a 95 out of 100 without even walking the course or looking at the map!

Dog Sports:
Passed and got our Protection Alert Title with a 175 out of 200! We also got FIRST PLACE in our class!!!

Zeke got to do dock jumping since he was finished with conformation. He really loves that water!!

Malinda Julien Photography has been contracted to do ALL ring side photography at Premier 2010!!! HOORAY!

Juniors: Morgan made the first cut even though Argo wanted to leave the ring and go do dock jumping!!

Agility:
Kristine & Cricket: Had a great run but went a little over time.

Rally:
Kristine & Cricket: Qualified!

Dog Sports:
PI Karen Shivers & K9 Miranda: Qualified and got their Protection Alert Title


Morgan & Argo and Jason & Cricket participated in Dock Jumping! It was great!

Kristine & Cricket: Had an excellent run with a score of 199!!! Great job!!
